Software Engineer III

We are looking for a Software Engineer III to take ownership of core features and drive technical excellence across our stack. In this role, you will bridge the gap between initial concepts and production-ready code, ensuring our systems remain scalable, secure, and highly available during a period of rapid company growth.

As a Software Engineer III at VineMeds™, you will work within our integrated platform, contributing to a modern stack that includes AWS services, data ingestion pipelines, .NET APIs, and Angular front-end. You will collaborate closely with a tightly knit team of peers and product managers to innovate and meet customer needs.

Duties:

Technical Problem Solving: Identify and solve technical problems with minimal guidance while maintaining high quality and performance.
Feature Development: Design, develop, and deploy well-tested features within the VineMeds platform.
Collaboration: Partner with team members on large-scale projects to ensure all development meets established technical standards.
Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure all scripts and applications meet both customer requirements and security standards.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for improvements in system security and application performance.

Skills:

Framework Proficiency: Hands-on experience with .NET (or similar frameworks) and Angular (or similar front-end frameworks).
Data Skills: Strong foundational knowledge of SQL for database interaction.
Communication: Ability to clearly communicate complex technical problems to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Operational Readiness: Ability to work effectively and independently in a fully remote, cohesive team environment.
Language: Proficiency in English for all written and verbal professional communication.

Experience

Software Design: General understanding of data structures and core software design principles.
Education: Computer Science education or equivalent technical training preferred.
Work Experience: 3-5 years developing code in a rapid paced environment
Remote Work: Experience operating within a remote-first organization.

Bonus:

AWS: Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environments.
Product Lifecycle: Experience working directly with product managers to iterate on customer needs.
